The way of the Ninja

While the Mascot contest is goin on, I'll tell you why I prefer the Ninja ... and my vision of "The way of the Ninja" :D.

The Ninja Mascot is not only a visual, it also has a concept in behind.

* First, the Ninja is well trained, and this matches the Mascot purose for @LearnDelphi.org

* Second, he works in small groups for maximum efficiency. And this matches with Delphi Spirit, you don't need to be many, even one dev alone can achieve great work,.

* Third, you don't need to be a genius ... component system is designed to be easy to use and almost self explanatory with the properties and events clearly visible (such things you would have otherwise to search in the help, or cut/paste from elsewhere, or have a genius memory). And with a simple click in the events you are where you need I the code, no search and browse ! You can, but why ?

* Four, he has Ninja Specific secret weapons .... (Ninja knife, shuriken, Nunchaku ...) Like Delphi VCL for windows, FireMonkey (FMX Opengl) for Android/Linux, ...  and RAD Server +REST +Sencha EXtJS for the Web ...

And here I will make you shout, but I don't care it's a funny blog, so let's digress ;)

Eh.. wait ... REST is not a special weapon, it's what everybody is using !!! REST is not the solution, REST is the problem ! The limitation  that forces you into MVC scheme.  And MVC is not the only way, it's just the way that workarounds the REST limitation ... and will be immediately ditched by your Dojo Masters when the limitation is removed ... don't you hear it comming ... gRPC anyone ? and more, and faster, and as fast as on a monitor directly plugged in a PC ... and ... then the Delphi VCL sheme is the more efficient, again.  And no, I never heard of a Delphi app who is difficult to maintain, there is zero reason not to continue the Delphi way when the technology barriers are removed.

And Yes don't get me wrong, Sencha and ExtJS are great, they are the "special weapons" Delphi needs for the web, but no filling a grid to display data is not enough, we need inetractivity.
